Bonjour, les docs 1 et 3 ne sont pas très clairs.

1. The Vikings raiders who raided the monastery of Lindisfarne came from Norse. (They were called Norsemen)

2. The Vikings came into contact with christianity through their raids and decided to settle in Christian villages in the area later known as the Danelaw.

3. They settled in Eastern Britain. Their kingdom was named "The Danelaw" which was constituted of Danish and Norse territory. They mainly came from Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

4. There was a mutual gain by both the Pope and the king since it meant for the Pope that more populations would convert to christianity and the king would have an absolute control over his people and could influence them by converting them.
